Grass Fed Lamb Tallow

    Description

Have you ever tasted potatoes baked in lamb tallow? It'll take your cooking to the next level. And that's before we talk about the health benefits, and the sustainable approach to utilising the entire animal, including what is normally viewed as a by-product or waste.

How do I use lamb tallow?

It's high smoke point means that you can healthily use lamb tallow in any high-heat cooking needs such as frying steaks, shallow-fried wedges or meatballs, sautéing vegetables or everyone's favourite, baked potatoes. You can even substitute it for butter or oil in all your cooking.

Tallow will deliver tasty, perfect results every time.

    How is lamb tallow made?

We render our lamb tallow from grass-fed, grass-fed organic animals in Albury, NSW. The quality of the tallow is ultimately determined by the quality of the pastures our animals feed on, which is where our regenerative practices shine through, creating an exceptional product both in flavour and nutrition.

Every jar of our Grass Fed Lamb Tallow is meticulously crafted and packaged in our commercial eatery to preserve its freshness and quality.

What are the health effects of Grass Fed Lamb Tallow?

If you're already sold on the benefits of cooking with tallow, and indeed the benefits of animals raised using regenerative agriculture methods, then you might be interested in the differences between lamb tallow and beef tallow.

Lamb tallow has 5.02% less saturated fatty acids per 100g compared to beef tallow.
Lamb tallow has 1.95x more polyunsaturated fatty acids per 100g compared to beef tallow. And lamb tallow has 7mg less cholesterol per 100g compared to beef tallow.

Like beef tallow, lamb tallow is rich in vitamins A, D, E, K, B1 and conjugated linoleic acid which can aid in supporting the immune system, reducing inflammation, improve metabolic health and increased fat loss, and improve skin health.

Our grass-fed sheep live on our regenerative farm in Albury, NSW, where they roam freely, grazing on nutrient-rich pastures – resulting in meat that’s not only better for the animals, but also better for you. Grab a jar today, and taste the difference for yourself!  Available in 350mL and 500mL jars.

This product can also be posted to ANY location in Australia, it's not limited to our frozen meat delivery network.
